Some of these Pieces are Sandcast by pouring hot glass into a sand mold. Others are Kilncast starting with a clay mold +/or Wax mold and then some type of investment such as a plaster silica mix into which the glass is melted or are Box Castings with the glass melted over investment in a Vermiculite box. Castings usually take 3-7 days to fire in a kiln because of their thickness.
